The Sentinel’s Infinite Playlist

Can’t find the right words to express your feelings on Valentine’s Day? Look no further: the Sentinel can help you through song.

1. For the couple in a committed relationship: Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”

The perfect way to reassure your loved one that you’re never going to give them up, let them down, run around, or desert them. You’re in it for the long haul, and this song will express that to your significant other.

2. For the Secret Admirer: The Police’s “Every Breath You Take”

Nothing says “love and comfort” like reminding your loved one that you’re always with them, and like Santa Claus, you see everything. This is a sure fire way to let your partner know that you’ve got their back even if they don’t want you to have it. They belong with you.

3. For the one who got away: Vanessa Hudgens’ “Come Back to Me”

Nothing says, “we can fix our relationship” like this 2006 classic. Let your ex know that it’s time to rekindle the fire by playing this for them until they want you back. Or get a restraining order.

4. For that special person you want to end it with: N SYNC’s “Bye, Bye, Bye”

It’s clear. It’s simple. It’s straight to the point. Works best if you learn the dance that goes along with it.

5. For the one who will do anything for his or her love:  Meatloaf’s “I Would Do Anything for Love”

But don’t do that. Instead, play The Proclaimers’ “500 Miles”

Get your shoes on and prove to your significant other that you’d march the length of Scotland in back to win their love. Tip: do not actually walk 500 miles.
