Throwback Thursday: St. Luke’s Drama in ’87

Oklahoma 1988THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7– As we look forward to the opening of the Fall play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, tomorrow evening, we can take the opportunity to look back at St. Luke’s theatrical productions past. In 1987, the musical was Oklahoma!, which reportedly went extremely well. “The winter musical, ‘Oklahoma,’ was sold out opening night and packed the second night,” the Caduceus reported. “The two leads of the play, Carl Baudendistel and Joianne Campbell both sang wonderfully. Karen Cosco and Ken Blakeman had big parts which they performed excellently.”
