Grammy Nominations Released

Last night the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced their nominations for this year’s Grammy Awards. Considered out of touch by many, the Grammys seem to have become a signifier for what sold well in 2011, if little else. Kanye West earned seven nominations, including one for Song of The Year (All of the Lights). However, his most recent album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, was inexplicably absent from the Album of The Year category. Other notable nominees include Adele (6), Bruno Mars (6), Lil Wayne (5), and Skrillex (5). Check out some of the nominees below and be sure to tune in on February 12th to see who wins.
