Yesterday, I heard English teacher Philip Van Munching talk to St. Luke’s students about courage and honesty. I heard him ask our students to dig deeper and be better people than he was at their age. I heard him talk – authentically, fearlessly, movingly, beautifully – about hatred, fear and intolerance. I heard words that reinforced my own desire to be a kind, respectful person and to expect the same from my children (and yours).
Yesterday, I heard Philip Van Munching deliver the best and most important Meditation, indeed the best and most important talk to St. Luke’s students of any kind, of my St. Luke’s career.
I urge you to listen for yourself. Click here for the video.
